I’ve had Avast Secureline for a few years and over the years a consistent issue I’ve had is with auto connect rules. Sometimes it leads to the VPN engaging all the time even when I put in an exempted network. Sometimes it won’t re-engage after being disabled requiring me to delete and re-download the app. The auto connect is also not consistent. I’ve checked several times and found the VPN off when I set it to connect on any network. Easy to use app overall but the persistent bug is frustrating particularly given it’s a paid for service

If this was a real VPN, I’d be able to access TikTok. Not renewing another service with Avast ever again.

Can’t reach Avast and can’t download VPN to my iPhone to open the program. Useless on the iPhone but works on the computer/laptop.

If you have any problems with Avast’s service Buck Up Buttercup cuz you aren’t going to get any help from this company! They make it nearly impossible to reach them and when you do, you can’t talk to someone. You have to type out everything and then they disconnect your discussion and don’t reconnect with you. So why do they make you give them your email address and phone number!?!?! I have to put up with my husband’s anger over putting Avast on his phone. All I need is assistance from Avast but can’t seem to get any! My rating is a negative 10

It will allow you to watch Netflix abroad but won’t allow to access any websites. It shows up as a robot to every website.

I signed up for a 1 year with a 7-day free trial and canceled the subscription within an hour. They charged me for the whole year. I submitted a claim on apple and they said my purchase doesn’t qualify for a refund, I called Avast and they said they don’t do refunds on apple purchases. Stay away of this company!

I’ve been wanting to upgrade to Avast premium security for sometime now. Finally did it this morning. I connected my phone, my computer, my husband‘s phone, my husband’s computer and I feel for the first time really secure. I had gotten some viruses in my phone over the summer and I knew something had to be done about it so I did something about it. I bought a 2 your subscription.

So, instruct me how to add my most used apps/icons to the blurred opening page. It’s one thing to protect, but I don’t care to type in searches for ‘smart home,’ ‘weather,’ etc.

I was advised by my accountant to use a VPN because of all the attacks. I didn’t think I needed it but took his advice. I’m so glad I did now that so many companies have been hacked and people have had their personal files frozen and held for ransom. I recommend you do the same. When you do, tell them Mark sent you!

Is not working. I’m set to connect whenever I’m on the internet but it does not. If I disconnect temporarily it stays disconnected.

I should disconnect the VPN from my other location. The disconnect is done randomly without my intervening. I don’t like it.

It gets disconnected too often and my phone goes vulnerable to the point of being hacked during on of those disconnected phases. It was a nightmare to get rid of the malware that hit me hard, when my VPN was disconnected without me knowing it was turned off, again.

When I tried to install Avast VPN I kept getting an “Encountered an Error” error message with absolutely no further instructions. Not a very good start!

I feel this is still the best vpn hands down. Love it and keeping it. Had it for years as it’s never disappoints.

It works before but it crashes now and doesn’t work at all in mad about this cause it’s not working anymore

Works better on phones than PC’S.

I had a lot of problems in the past with SecureLine but after complaining and leaving a nasty review they fixed the issues. Has been working perfectly for the last few years.

The Avast VPN is blocking my access to the App Store. Ready to chuck this service.

In using the app continuously, when going back to it instead of showing it was connected for the hours I’ve been working it shows 25 or twenty minutes, leaving me concerned I’ve not been protected. This has been ongoing for a year. Not like this on my android tablet. Please fix.

Dearest Avast, You are defunct at the moment you turn-off or stop-working and then I am not secure… Maybe, it’s time for me to go spend money else where? The computers are great but not the fact that some can not keep up with the times or they are making money$$$ so why improve nor innovate? I personally want a remote device to add to my device and it filters those who shall prey on the innocent… And, it is forever changing as this can be done! I know how important online security is in our current society, which is why I added this service. I am happy with my Avast services, unfortunately this one seems to have bugs which need to be worked out as of now. Whenever I attempt to go on social media, I get kicked out as being suspicious for fraud due to the VPN modulating between on and off line.
