Avast Secureline VPN Proxy App Reviews

The app works well but it can be hard to get it to work. I recently logged in and it said my subscription had expired. I proceeded to renew but it didnt automatically renew my code. It showed the code in alert but it didnt give me a chance to write it down. When I got the email confirming the purchase from the App Store the confirmation code was not included. I dont know where to get the activation code again and the app still shows my subscription is expired.

Easy, straightforward setup. Excellent design and interface for OS X. And I was happy to be a beta tester for Avasts SecureMe VPN product. I have always used Avast Antivirus on my OS X and Windows machines; its the only product Ill ever use. Lightweight and transparent, a testament to brilliant programming. No problems, ever. Customer service is top-notch, quick to respond to questions, and provides assistance that showcases highly intelligent employees. I applaud any developer that can release such stable software, given that Tim Cook expects developers to use Apples trainwrecked and bugged-out operating systems and developer tools. Lets stop ignoring his mess. And ignoring that hes an embarrassment to how Steve Jobs required perfection in all things Apple. For anyone ever having "issues" with any iOS or OS X apps: before jumping on developers (Google aside) lets acknowledge that Tim Cook has dumped nothing but shitware iOS and OS X iterations at us that are inexcusable; he has yet to man-up and say "Im not Steve Jobs; Im clueless and someone else needs to fix this OS wreck before Apple tanks" Try producing apps on Apples buggy development tools... Then expecting them to "function" on Operating systems analogous to a Meth addicts batshit-craziness. Again, thank you, Avast!

Get it. Its worth it. It has detected several viruses on my macbook, iPad, and iPhone. Thank you Avast for protecting my devices.

App works well. No problems

Had AVAST VPN for 3+ years and just renewed subscription. VPN now will not connect as Avast has moved on to a new product. Im only out $2.99 but frustrating to renew a product no longer working.

Updating my review.. Connection issues corrected with last few updates back to loving the app.

I was charged $ 49.99 for a product that dont even download I try to contact support but there is no answer at all I guess this is a good way to get your money all I get in my app is your trial has expired and ask me for a code that avast never send to me went they convert it to a full year subscription

I cannot use my Time Warner app when this app is active. Somebody didnt think this through when they released this! There are probably other apps that conflict as well.

This app never works when you want it to. It s a waste of money. I bought the whole year subscription and I wish I didnt. It never works.. Dont waste your money on this one. I actually rate it a Zero star !!! But you cant and so I have to give it at least one.

I subscribed then realized it reveals your IP address. This should not be easily logged. Plenty of other services assign you an external address. Ill be canceling right away and requiring a refund.

This company has demonstrated some unethical business practices. I downloaded the app and set the app to charge my cc 2.99 per month; the app then consistently and mysteriously always reset the payment option 10.99 ( their yearly subscription) price. I then cancelled the subscription, and deleted the app from my phone. And 1month later, I was again charged for the monthly subscription price. I had to call apple support, and request a refund, and for them to cancel auto renew from this company. I dont know how effective the VPN application really is; But if its anything like their current business practices, then its not worth your money!

Amazing, havent had any problems with this app. After the 7 day trial, I went ahead and bought a subscription. Let me tell you right now, its worth it! If youre looking for a solid VPN app, this is it.

Ive used Avast for YEARS on my Windows OS and have never had any problems! Im disappointed because when I saw I could get a secure VPN from Avast I was ecstatic....but its NOT FREE! Im on fixed income and cannot afford another monthly fee! Goodbye Avast VPN!

I bought a 2 year subscription. Constantly have to reinstall profile. Now it keeps telling me that I need to buy a license. Avast is a ripoff. When my Avast Antivirus runs out I will not renew. Waste of money and time.

Works nice but after the free trial period and paid to Apple store for one-year license, getting dunned by Avast both on iPhone and email at home computer.
