No Canadian Server & Not Free

Wont install without selecting a Chinese or US server in the "Location" configuration. Need a server in CANADA that I can TRUST‼️‼️

Wont install without monthly subscription - no Free button, presumably defaults to "Free" if I could TRUST a Chinese or US server.

Now installs VPN server SOMEWHERE, presumably got 7-day free trial through one of the unknown locations somewhere in the world like the Czech Republic, Germany, France, the UK, Singapore or who knows where⁉️

Did I happen to mention a CANADIAN server that I can TRUST? No? Well, I NEED A CANADIAN SERVER I CAN TRUST‼️ Not so much interested in a VPN as I want virus protection against unwanted intrusion of an unseen/hidden app from anywhere other than the Apple Store. I know its now against the law in Canada to use a VPN to mask your location and my ISP is required to report downloads of copywrited material now. A friend sent a link for a news story link about the Nicaraguan Canal and the link tried to install an app from China!! I think I stopped it but how do I know I did? I trusted Avast so I allowed it to install from the Apple Store... hope that was not a mistake!!
